So let me start by being clear, I am not a huge horror film buff, I watch them here and there (I think the last one I saw, was Saw I or II, they all seem the same.) I don’t dislike the genre, I just don’t feel compelled to go out of my way to watch them. Now of course, if it were a zombie flick, then that’s a whole different story! So in a circular logic, round about sense, this is a Zombie flick, a Rob Zombie Flick! Ok that was bad, I admit it.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Rob Zombie, especially his music, but also his distorted vision. I think that is what is drawing me in on this particular movie, more than the name, more than the cast, more than anything else. I feel like if I go see this, I won’t be let down, kinda like going to a Tarentino movie, you know that even if it sucks, it will be something you remember and like.
So while I don’t know much about the plot (is there one?) or the folks starring in the film, I would say just go see this because it’s Rob Zombie!
