Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps

Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit.  So why not milk it for all its worth and make another movie some 23 years later?  Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the first one, granted I didn’t get it until the mid 90′s when I was working through the Dot Com Boom, and suddenly I started to see Gordon Gekko in many of the clients I was working for.  So maybe the new movie will have some insights into and parallel the greed of people like Bernie Madoff.  I guess its too early to tell, I just see this as a sequel being made for the sole purpose of making more money….
